02_PROCESS
RESEARCH
Break the Room starts the development and research process around an idea supplied by the producer or vetted by our IP database.
DEVELOP
A full pitch is presented to the producers, with a breakdown that includes story, characters and world.
ROOM
Once a pitch is given the green light, writers—whose background, experience and talent match the story area—jumpstart content development over the course of 5 days.
DELIVER
After a pass of notes, we deliver a mix of core documents that includes a pitch bible, pitch deck, outlines, scripts and episode guides for the series.
An open, collaborative writers room leads to a strong proof of concept. Break the Room's thematic values call for action and movement that chart the way forward for both a show—and its writers—to meet their audiences.
INSIGHT
The pitch continues on to signficant stakeholders, who—once engaged—help to bolster crucial concept conversations.
